Last Updated: May 2026

This Booking Policy applies to all reservations, event bookings, and room hires made with Mulligans of Bingley (“we,” “us,” “our”). By making a booking you agree to these terms.

1. Making a Booking

  • Bookings can be made via our website, by phone (07873 935732), or by email (bookings@mulligansofbingley.co.uk).
  • All bookings require the full name, contact telephone number, and email address of the lead booker. Additional attendee details may be requested for larger events.

2. Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed once we send a written confirmation (email or SMS) and any required deposit has been received.
  • Check your confirmation carefully and notify us immediately of any errors.

3. Deposits and Payment

  • Some bookings require a non-refundable deposit; the amount and payment deadline will be specified at time of booking.
  • Remaining balances are payable by the date stated on your booking confirmation or on arrival, as specified.
  • We accept major debit/credit cards and other payment methods listed at time of booking. Payment details collected are processed securely; see our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy for more information.

4. Age Restrictions and Children

  • Mulligans of Bingley admits children but only until 8:00pm daily. After 8:00pm the venue is for over-18s only.
  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on the premises. The lead booker is responsible for the safety and behaviour of any children in their party.
  • We operate a "Challenge 25" policy: if a guest appears to be under 25 we will ask for valid photo ID before serving alcohol.
  • Acceptable ID: UK driving licence, passport, PASS-accredited ID card, or national identity card.
  • If a guest cannot produce acceptable ID, we will refuse service of age-restricted products and may refuse entry. No refunds will be given for refused service resulting from lack of ID.
  • Staff reserve the right to refuse admission or to ask any guest to leave where age restrictions, safety, or licensing rules are not being complied with.

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  • To cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as possible. For standard bookings, notify us at least 48 hours prior to the booked date to be eligible for a reschedule or credit (subject to availability).
  • For cancellations made less than the required notice or for no-shows, the full booking charge may be retained.
  • If we cancel a booking, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. See our Refund Policy for further details.

6. Changes by you

  • equests to change a booking (date, time, number of guests, package) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. We will confirm any accepted changes in writing.

7. Capacity and Minimums

  • Bookings must adhere to our venue capacity limits and any minimum spend requirements applicable to private hires or special events. We will advise these at time of booking.

8. Arrival and Event Timing

  • Please arrive at the time specified on your confirmation. Late arrivals may reduce the allocated time of hire without adjustment to the price.
  • Unless agreed otherwise, bookings include the specified hire period only. Additional time may be available subject to availability and charge.

9. Conduct and Damage

  • The lead booker is responsible for the behaviour of all attendees, compliance with venue rules, and for any damage or excessive cleaning costs caused by guests.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service or end an event if behaviour presents a risk to staff, guests, or property. No refunds will be given in such cases.

10. Accessibility and Special Requirements

  • Please notify us of access needs, allergies, dietary requirements, or other special requests at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate them but cannot guarantee fulfilment in all circumstances.

11. External Suppliers and Decorations

  • Use of external contractors (caterers, entertainers, decorators) must be approved in advance. Contractors may need to provide proof of insurance and relevant licenses.
  • Decorations must be agreed with us beforehand; nothing may be attached to walls or fixtures without permission.

12. Photography and Marketing

  • We may take photos or video for promotional use during events. If you do not consent, please inform staff on arrival.

13. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for failure to fulfil bookings caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, public health restrictions, supplier failures). In such cases we will offer alternatives or refunds where appropriate.

14. Liability

  • Our liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking, except where required otherwise by law.

15. Data Protection

16. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this Booking Policy at any time. The version posted on our website at the time of booking will apply.
